What we run for you
MoosePOI is built by people who run carrier voice networks, for the people who run them too. The interconnection fabric is the core of what we do — but a voice provider needs more than a POI to keep calls flowing. You need DNS that never flaps, a web presence that stays up, and somewhere to run the voice platform itself.
The usual answer is to stitch those together from a handful of consumer-grade hosts and hope none of them has a bad day while you’re carrying calls. We think that’s backwards. You’re a VoIP provider — the things you depend on should be run to the standard voice demands, by one provider who operates with telecom-grade reliability.
Interconnection Fabric
The shared Voice over IP Point of Interconnection at the heart of MoosePOI. Connect once and reach your interconnection partners over IP, with authenticated identity, inline STIR/SHAKEN verification, and real control over your inbound traffic — no per-partner re-architecture.
This is the product the rest of the site describes. See how it works or read the trust model.
DNS Hosting
As a voice provider, DNS isn’t a website convenience — it’s in the call path. SIP relies on it: SRV and NAPTR records steer signaling to your SBCs and softswitches, and every registration and route depends on those lookups resolving, fast, every time. DNS that goes soft takes your calls with it.
We host authoritative DNS at the reliability level voice requires — anycast, redundant nameservers, and change management that treats a zone edit with the seriousness of a routing change. The DNS your calls ride on, run by the same people running your interconnect.
Web Hosting
A voice provider still needs the web: a customer portal, provisioning and account pages, a status page your customers check when something feels off, API endpoints your partners integrate against, and the marketing site itself. When any of those go down, it looks like you went down.
We host it on infrastructure built for uptime rather than for the lowest possible monthly bill — the same network and operational discipline behind the interconnection fabric. One provider for the site your customers see and the interconnect they reach you over.
VoIP Hosting
The voice platform itself needs somewhere to live: session border controllers, softswitch, media and registration servers. Real-time voice is unforgiving of the things general-purpose hosting shrugs off — jitter, packet loss, a noisy neighbor saturating a link, a maintenance window with no notice.
We host voice infrastructure on a network engineered for real-time media, with the latency, jitter, and availability characteristics calls actually need, sitting right next to the interconnection fabric it exchanges traffic with. The platform and the POI, on the same telecom-grade footing.
One provider, telecom-grade
The through-line is simple: you’re a VoIP provider, and the things you end up needing — interconnection, DNS, web, a home for the voice platform — you can get from one provider that runs all of it to the reliability standard voice demands, instead of assembling them from vendors who don’t think about your calls at all.
