Terms of Service — MoosePOI

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MoosePOI website and, where applicable, the MoosePOI interconnection service (together, the “Service”), operated by MoosePOI, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“MoosePOI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

MoosePOI is a neutral IP Point of Interconnection at which authenticated carriers exchange STIR/SHAKEN-signed SIP voice traffic. MoosePOI verifies signatures, provides per-participant attribution, and provides tooling that lets participants control the inbound traffic that crosses their MoosePOI interconnect. MoosePOI is an interconnect; it does not originate calls, sign traffic, or issue certificates.

2. Participation

Use of MoosePOI is limited to participants who are accepted under, and who comply with, the Participation Rules & Acceptable-Use Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. Participants are responsible for the traffic they send, including its STIR/SHAKEN attestation and its lawfulness.

3. Traffic and Fees

MoosePOI does not impose per-minute charges on traffic exchanged over the interconnection. Certain services — such as dedicated cross-connects, dedicated ports, and concierge turn-up — may carry connection or service fees as separately agreed. Any such fees are charges for the service or facility, not charges on traffic.

4. Inbound Control

Participant inbound-control settings determine what traffic is accepted over that participant’s MoosePOI interconnect. Declining traffic affects only the participant’s interconnect with MoosePOI and does not block or terminate a call elsewhere on the network. MoosePOI executes participant policy as neutral tooling and does not assume any participant’s regulatory obligations, including robocall-mitigation obligations.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to send unlawful, fraudulent, or knowingly misattested traffic, to misrepresent your identity, to circumvent authentication or another participant’s policy, or to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service. Prohibited conduct is described further in the Participation Rules.

6. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service, or to a specific source of traffic, for violations of these Terms or the Participation Rules, or where necessary to protect the integrity or security of MoosePOI.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MoosePOI, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues, arising out of or relating to the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice to participants. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
